Bosman Van Zaal operates internationally and obviously, our customers are interested in which measures we have taken to avoid the infection and spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19). The National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) is the Dutch national agency that is responsible for providing up-to-date information about governmental measurements and advice on Covid-19 to the public and trade and industry.
Bosman Van Zaal and subsidiaries will follow this advice and is in contact with all relevant authorities. We deployed a dedicated team that is responsible to collect and disseminate the relevant information among our staff and for follow-up governmental advice and measurements. At this moment, no additional measures are advised to Bosman Van Zaal and subsidiaries. If that is the case, we will, of course, follow up on these recommendations immediately and inform our employees and partners about the implications.
Covid-19 protocol
Furthermore, we implemented a far-reaching company Covid-19 protocol that is stricter than the RIVM advice and measurements. Since we are an internationally active company, we do our utmost to protect our staff and customers. So in addition to the RIVM advice and measurements in the field of hygiene and such, among others we actively track the whereabouts of our staff, we do not allow our staff to travel to internationally recognised risk areas/countries, and we limit travelling to only necessary purposes and staff that visited risk areas and countries in the last weeks (for business or private purposes) are not allowed in our premises for a period 2 weeks. Our employees that are able to work from home do so, while our production and manufacturing continue to run as usual.
On our website, we will provide the latest information on the current status. And if there is the slightest reason to suspect that staff members may be infected, we will inform all our customers that have been in contact with suspected staff immediately.
